Black and White

Welcome to my black and white / monochrome photograph gallery. In the days before digital photography, many amateur photographers like me developed black and white films in such places as toilets and bathrooms. Even in these primitive conditions some amazing images would emerge in front of your eyes. Unfortunately, the digital revolution has virtually killed off this art and some would say also black and white. I, and I’m sure many others believe that black and white still has its place in digital photography and many images indeed are enhanced by this processing, highlighting detail that is lost in a colour image.
